National Summary Report

*MAIN TRAFFIC* *N62/OFFALY* A stop/go system in place on the N62 Birr to Roscrea Rd on the Railway Rd in Birr until approx 8th Sept. These works caused delays on Thursday evening. *N17 GALWAY* There are a number of road works in Tuam town that have been causing delays in the past few days. Temporary traffic lights are in place on the N17 Galway/Sligo Rd, in Tuam at the Weir Rd jct. *LONGFORD* The Fáilte festival takes place in Longford town from today, bringing extra traffic to the town and the N5 Longford/Castlebar Rd. In addition, there will be a match at Flancare Park, where Longford Town take on Shamrock Rovers. Owing to the two events taking place delays are expected in Longford between 7-10pm.

*CITY TRAFFIC* *GALWAY* Moving well in Galway city at this stage. *CORK* No major delays for city centre traffic at present. * Munster play Gloucester in a friendly at Musgrave Park at 7pm, bringing extra traffic to the South Ring Rd and South City Link Rd before and after the game. *LIMERICK* There are no major delays or incidents to report in Limerick City. * In Dooradoyle, there are works on the Raheen Rd (R510) between Mungret School and Quinns Cross R/A, from 7:30am-6pm today, Saturday and Monday. Diversions will operate, from the N69 Dock Rd and Mungret (R859) towards the Raheen R/A. The Caher Rd (R526) will be diverted from Quinns Cross R/A via Fr. Russell Rd and St Nessans Rd. *WATERFORD* Traffic is moving well around the city centre. *DUBLIN* See 'Dublin Summary' for more.

*ROADWORKS* *LAOIS* The Portlaoise/Portarlington Rd (R419) is closed until 6pm this evening. *N17/GALWAY/SLIGO* Expect delays on the N17 Galway/Sligo Rd due to works at Tuam, then further north between Tubercurry and Curry as well as at Cloonacurra and Carrowreilly. Allow extra time for the journey. *GALWAY* A stop/go system is in place on the N18 Galway/ Ennis Rd at Kiltiernan, from 8am-5:30pm daily until next Friday (3rd Sept). *TIPPERARY* Single lane traffic is in place at a number of spots on the N24 Tipperary/Cahir Rd between Tipperary Town and Bansha, at Tankerstown, Barnlough and Lacken, from 8am to 7pm daily until Wed 8th Sept. *N71/CORK* The N71 Cork/Bandon Rd is closed between Innishannon and Bandon until 30th Aug.

*EVENTS* *WICKLOW* The Baltinglass Street Festival is underway until Sun 29th Aug. Main St in Baltinglass will close from 6pm-12am each night.
