We've entered the spirit of Christmas by developing a very clever Secret Santa App. The App allows the person tasked with arranging the Secret Santa – either for family or work - to manage the entire process electronically.

 According to Ciarán O’Reilly, Managing Director of Refresh “Normally with Secret Santa - or Kris Kindle as it is sometimes known - someone ends up tearing bits of paper up and drawing names out. The Secret Santa Selector takes care of all of that automatically.

Incorrect Ads that get it just right

With their incredible track record in mobile phones, it should be no surprise that Nokia's wide range includes handsets with full QWERTY keyboards, which in an increasingly touchscreen age, are still preferred by many for their superior accuracy and comfort. We used a series of 10 eyecatching video display banners to dramatise the ridiculous and frustrating mistakes that people often make on touch screen phones.

Northern Bank School's Cup Site

Northern Bank have been title sponsors of the Ulster Schools’ Cup for the past six years. Known as, “Northern Bank Rugby Schools’ Cup” the competition is a partnership with the IRFU Ulster Branch.
 
The second oldest rugby competition in the world, the Northern Bank Schools’ Cup runs from November to March each year and brings together talented young players from across Northern Ireland.

Great news n a sunny day in Dublin, we’ve just heard that we’ve been appointed as the Digital Agency for Nokia Ireland following a 4 way competitive pitch.

According to Sian Gray, Head of Marketing at Nokia “The decision to appoint Refresh was, in the end a very easy one. Their clear understanding of the requirements of the brief and our brand and demonstration of outstanding creativity and technological expertise shone through during the process.”

The appointment is effective immediately.

We just completed our first work for Toyota Ireland. A rich media and standard format campaign for the Auris. Working with the new TV campaign, the expandable format uses a number of video clips running simultaneously to create dramatic effect. We quite like the static banner execution too!

Number One in the App Store? Gift!

When we started working on an App for Gift Grub, the popular satire sketch on Today FM’s Ian Dempsey Show, we had high hopes that it might make at least the top 5 in the App Store. So it was a pleasant surprise to wake up on Monday to find out it had hit the Number One spot, having only been released on the previous Friday!

Our clients EMI, Ian and Mario are really chuffed their first digital venture has gone so well.

The brief was to use the familiar characters created by the Gift Grub team in a new and engaging way.
